Over the past eighteen years, Jay Roberts Jewelers has earned a distinguished reputation for quality, selection and above all else, superior, individualized customer service. Under the leadership of business partners Jake Spigelman and Jay Golde, the Jay Roberts team is composed of close to 30 employees—goldsmiths, diamond and stone setters, and expert watchmakers who eagerly attend to the every need of a watch savvy clientele.
“We handle anything from ring sizing and soldering to casting one-of-a-kind custom pieces,” Golde says proudly. “Every staff member is an expert in the field and we pass that experience on to the customer.” Spigelman adds, “With a continuing emphasis on our founding philosophy of superior customer service, we are committed to bringing our customers the best in new designs and technical innovations.”
Occupying 6,500 square feet, Jay Roberts’ sleekly designed showroom is home to more than 20 prestigious watch brands, including the most revered names in the industry: Cartier, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Bulgari, Oris, TAG Heuer, and many more. Currently, Breitling and Cartier are the most popular brands offered in the store, as they are highly respected by Jay Roberts’ customers for their craftsmanship, value, and plentiful offerings and price points.
In addition to fine timepieces, Jay Roberts Jewelers carries an impressive selection of designer jewelry, with designs by David Yurman, John Hardy, Aaron Basha, Gregg Ruth and several others.
Jay Roberts prides itself on being home to the largest David Yurman case in the country. “Our David Yurman boutique has a sixty-five-foot-long case housing the finest selection of not only his silver jewelry but also his gold jewelry and watch collection,” says Spigelman. Jay Roberts also displays an impressive selection of watch winders by Orbita, Scatola del Tempo, and Wolf Designs. Spanning price ranges, and the number of timepieces that they can accommodate, there truly is a winder for every type of collector at Jay Roberts Jewelers, and the knowledgeable staff is always prepared to assist those not familiar with the extremely practical and efficient mechanisms.
Located just fifteen minutes outside of Philadelphia, Jay Roberts regularly welcomes a number of professional athletes from the city’s celebrated football and hockey teams—the Eagles and Flyers—to the store. Many of these local heroes have embarked upon unique partnerships with the jeweler, serving as store spokespeople and gracing the pages of last year’s holiday catalog to great acclaim. The Eagles’ celebrated quarterback Donovan McNabb proudly wore a Breitling timepiece on the cover of the catalog, attracting many of McNabb’s admirers to the Breitling showcases!
