Haltom's
" You'll never find an offering in our store that we ourselves wouldn't be proud to hand down to our own children and grandchildren. "
- Jack Miller
A Texan tradition for over 100 years, Haltom’s Fine Jewelers has been gracing the Fort Worth region since 1893, bringing exquisite jewelry and timepieces to this cultural epicenter. Purchased by the dynamic entrepreneur Jack Miller in 1983, Haltom’s Fine Jewelers has experienced remarkable growth under Miller’s leadership over the past decades; and today, the jeweler boasts five retail locations in Fort Worth, and the neighboring towns of Arlington and Grapevine, Texas.
As a tribute to company founder G.W. Haltom, a precise cast-iron clock is displayed outside of each of Haltom’s five stores. This element of the décor dates back to the early 1900s, when G.W. Haltom purchased a Howard clock with an eight-day manual-wind movement, and placed it in front of the original downtown location in Fort Worth, Texas. The precision clocks that currently stand adjacent to each storefront boast atomic mechanisms that use radio waves to verify the time, a salute to expert craftsmanship, artistry, and accuracy.
Haltom’s five stores each boast 3,000 square feet, with dark wood showcases, elegant lighting, an inviting atmosphere, and diligent employees. A comprehensive training program ensures that Haltom’s forty sales associates are up-to-date on industry news, trends, innovations, and more, as each employee attends a weekly training seminar. Their enthusiasm for, and knowledge of, the watch industry is tangible, and customers feel confident that a special purchase from Haltom’s Fine Jewelers will be treasured for years to come.
“The most important part of our business is our relationship with our customers,” imparts Miller. “Our philosophy is that since we don’t have anything anyone needs, we must make the Haltoms experience fun, easy and desirable.” Haltom’s selection of timepieces is desirable indeed, offering Rolex, Patek Philippe, Breitling, TAG Heuer, and several other prestigious Swiss brands. This Texan jeweler remains staunchly committed to quality, expert craftsmanship, and value, without being swayed by current fads. It is for these reasons that only the most celebrated names in horology can be found within the doors of Haltom’s Fine Jewelers. Jack Miller explains, “You’ll never find an offering in our store that we ourselves wouldn’t be proud to hand down to our own children and grandchildren.”
In addition to the abovementioned selection of timepieces, Haltom’s showcases display a gorgeous assortment of jewelry by Gregg Ruth, John Hardy, Mikimoto, and Steven Lagos; and a full line of giftware by Baccarat, Waterford, Lalique, Nambe, and more.
Haltom’s Fine Jewelers is deeply committed to enriching and supporting the community that has sustained them for so many years, as they are active in a host of philanthropic causes. Among the charitable and civic organizations Haltom’s actively supports are Susan G. Komen, Cook Children’s Hospital, Forth Worth Modern Art Museum, Women’s Haven, and the Tarrant County Food Bank.
With a firm commitment to providing customers with the finest timepieces and beautiful jewels, individualized customer service, it is no surprise that Texans have looked to Haltom’s Fine Jewelers for their watch and jewelry needs for over a century.
