Adler laid the foundation for a successful family business; and it has been evident to this day that a strong set of family values is at the core of the Adler operation.
The original Adler’s store stood on Royal Street, in the historic French Quarter of New Orleans, quickly gaining a city-wide reputation for excellence. With his sons Milton and Walter at his side, Mr. Adler worked tirelessly to build his business, offering excellence in personalized customer care to match the high standards of craftsmanship and prestige found in his merchandise.
Today, Coleman E. Adler II, the founder’s grandson, oversees four stores, and is joined by four members of the fourth generation, each of whom takes a dynamic role in the daily operation of the business. “Having been in New Orleans for over 100 years, we have the benefit of serving several generations of our customers’ families. Adler’s signature jewelry collection enhances out the offerings, and often incorporates the symbol of New Orleans, the Fleur de Lys. And located in the heart of the French Quarter is Adlers’ sister store, Waldhorn & Adler, where estate jewelry, vintage timepieces, and antique furniture are offered to great acclaim.
