Chase-Durer is a watch company that was formed a decade ago by Hollywood film producers Brandon and Marianne Chase. Their goal was to produce reasonably priced, high quality Swiss watches specifically designed for pilots. Combat pilots, USAF Thunderbird pilots, US Air Force Academy pilots and US Navy Top Gun pilots all wear Chase-Durer pilot watches.
The Chase-Durer Special Forces 1000 XL watch could be a good “weekend” watch for you if you like its sporty look. The company uses a Swiss ETA quartz chronograph movement in this watch so you will not have to wind it after not wearing it for a while. I personally like the appearance of the bracelet on the watch. It is a black PVD coated stainless steel bracelet that gives great appeal to the watch as a whole. The watch also has a good case size at 44 mm and comes with a two-year warranty.
