I would like to know more about Mauboussin Watches. It seems that nothing much and not much advertisements about it. Thanks
International Watch issue #45 from 2001 featured the signature "Fouga" chronograph collection.
Mauboussin is a French watch brand not currently represented in North America. They were originally a jewlery maker with a strong focus on ring designs. Later, they expanded into watches with some unique rounded rectangular designs in steel - with and without gemstones for men and women in both mechanical and quartz executions in their "Fouga" collection.
At one point in the early 2000's the brand was represented at Bergdorf Goodman's "Art Of Watchmaking" boutique in the New York store.
Today the brand has evolved some of the key design elements its previous "Fouga" chronographs into lines with less complex cases. Some feature bold and colorful dials with quartz movements and others display a more traditional dial and house mechanical chronoghraph mechanisms.
See www.mauboussin.com to check out the current offerings from the brand or you can e-mail them at info@mauboussin.com
