I have come across a watch from Libia with Khadafi"s picture on it. It looks like the make is Clmax. can you tell me anything about it?
We've asked around and we do not know the provenance of this watch. Likely a private label effort done by a fan Khadafi and Libya. We have seen some cheap watches with other various world leaders and very few are legitimate - hand painted, valuable items. Remember any picture can be screened and placed on a quartz watch that you can have put together for a few dollars. Some rare exceptions are the enamels and had-painted works of famous (or infamous) by the Swiss brands but I do not believe that is the case in this instance and would need more information on the watch to do any kind of research.
